Panel 2: I tried drawing this page right after seeing a whole bunch of old banned cartoons featuring unflattering black stereotypes (see p. 57),and it was hard to draw Tammy without making her look weird and ugly! After seeing all those racist cartoons, my "cartooning compass" needed resetting, or something.
