Panel 1: I didn't want Dr Pepper in bottles because I didn't want to drink a full 20 ounces of Dr Pepper at one time, and I didn't want to drink half a bottle and have the other half go flat and be wasted.
Panel 2: Seawolf was sitting in one of the shoeshine chairs. That's what those pedals at the bottom are.
