Photos:
Jacques Lipchitz's sculpture Prometheus Strangling the Vulture II resembles the style of pre-Columbian art from South America, but also has a cartoony look to it! Also, that's quite a pompadour Prometheus is sporting.
The Cowles Conservatory, a greenhouse at the edge of the Sculpture Garden.
Frank Gehry's "Standing Glass Fish", inside the Cowles Conservatory. The Conservatory was closed at the time (it was Monday), so I had to photograph the fish through the window. Sort of like an aquarium!
The Irene Hixon Whitney Bridge across the freeway to the Sculpture Garden, commonly called the bike bridge.
Justin on the bike bridge.
Interstate 94 as seen from the bike bridge. Don't drop your camera!
Interstate 94 vanishes beneath the surface of downtown Minneapolis inside this tunnel, visible from the bike bridge.
The second little pig built his horse out of sticks! "Woodrow" by Deborah Butterfield. (And according to the Sculpture Garden map, these sticks are made of bronze cast from real sticks and branches!)
We saw a nude woman in the sculpture garden! (Okay, so she's one of the sculptures...)
